Hotel Central Park Terme

We’ve stayed here twice and like the hotel a lot. The staff were attentive and helpful, and properly masked. The food was excellent, though a few things cost extra, including freshly squeezed orange juice and fried eggs, two of my favourites. Breakfast was well organised, but coffee could arrive faster if we could order as soon as we chose our food. The chef and dining staff were excellent. Eating outside was a bit hot compared with the air-conditioned dining room, and tables had to be booked. It’s only a 10-minute walk to the beach and five minutes to the shops. We aren’t beach people, but the pool area and bar were lovely, and even as non-swimmers we felt safe there. I had a nice massage, though there were no appointments for my husband. The spa allowed only two people at a time for 30 minutes, by booking, and I wouldn’t bother with it. It badly needs renovating. The old stone has gone black with age, which is a shame for an otherwise nearly perfect hotel. The hotel was clean, but our room felt a bit tired. The taps and other fittings need updating. It’s good value for money, but the room could use some attention.

The rooms were spacious, well equipped, and kept in immaculate condition. It’s in a perfect spot, about a five-minute walk from both the town center and the beach. The staff were kind and professional, quick to sort out any room issue and helpful with bookings and information.

Everything else was very good, especially the location. My only complaint is that the food came out too quickly. I’d rather have a pause between courses.

So peaceful and relaxing, and really beautiful. The local people are warm and helpful. I love it.
