Rosanna Maison B&B

Armando and Rosanna are such kind, welcoming hosts. Everything was spotless and breakfast was homemade, with an amazing cake. Armando speaks English fluently, but it was nice to chat with his mother and practise my Italian. We’d definitely return. Ciao Bert

Armando took care of everything we needed, and our comfortable, clean room had A/C and even a crib for us. The location was ideal, just a 3 to 7 minute walk from the beach or main strip. From the moment we got off the ferry, we were treated like royalty. Breakfast was included and catered to our American needs and wants. Rosanna may suggest private dinners or boat rides, and I STRONGLY advise taking her up on them.

The few private rooms at the Maison fit right into the everyday Ischia feel of the neighborhood. It’s well placed between the town’s shopping and social areas and a simple, unpretentious beach at the end of the block. Rosanna, her son Armando, and their family are rare and special hosts: informed, welcoming, ready for anything, and lovely. They guided us with real care through the medical troubles we had during our visit, which showed just how much kindness and integrity they have. My one hesitation in recommending this gem and the magical possibilities of experiencing Ischia from here is that too many guests, or even a few who don’t appreciate it, could taint the Rosanna Maison.

We spent a few nights at Rosanna's last month and had a fantastic stay. She was incredibly friendly. I don't speak much Italian, but we found our own way to communicate. The rooms were nice, breakfast was great, and both Ischia downtown and the beach were an easy walk away.
