Locanda sul Mare

Couldn’t ask for a better location.

Ms. Olimpia was professional and attentive, and always happy to share useful tips. The inn is welcoming and well cared for, with roomy rooms that have what you need. It’s handy for the ferries, the center, and the bus terminal, all close by, and a great base for enjoying the island. I’ll definitely return.

Mrs. Olimpia made us feel right at home. Our room was clean and had all the bathroom essentials, and we had a wonderful stay at the seaside inn. The ferry docks are just a minute away on foot, while the pedestrian promenade of Ischia Porto and Piazzale Trieste, where the buses leave from, are about five minutes away. Highly recommended.

I came back in both July and August and enjoyed my stay each time. The owners are kind and ready to help, and the location across from the port is hard to beat. The bus station is a two-minute walk away, with good service for exploring the island without a car or scooter. The rooms are clean and have air conditioning, a mini-fridge, and a hairdryer. Breakfast was good too, with fresh croissants from the pastry shop. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Ischia, and I’d rate it on a par with a three-star hotel.
