We spent a great stay at Hotel Marcantonio. It's centrally placed, so we could walk to town or the port, and the bus stop for getting around the island was just a short walk away. We didn't have a car, but the buses worked well. Kathryn, Davide and Danielle were attentive and helped with our questions, bookings, and recommendations. Our room was spacious and clean, and we liked having a shared kitchen and balcony where we could relax and make coffee.

The garden and the view of Castello Aragonese made a lovely setting for dinner after our cooking class. Three wonderful Ischitan women hosted us, and you could tell they love cooking and meeting people. My two children and I had a great time making gnocchi and tiramisu. Five stars all around.

Marcantonio BB was a perfect stay for us. We were right in Ischia's historic center, with a supermarket close by, lots of charming restaurants, and the castle nearby too. The clean, comfortable room exceeded what we expected, with an Italian style.

The house is close to everything and sits on a good bus line to the port, which made getting around easy. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and even made a special occasion of my birthday. They had great suggestions for Ischia and Naples, and created a beautiful place to spend the weekend. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Catrin and David made us feel so welcome, and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and one of the highlights. Catrin also helped us book tours and make reservations, and managed to arrange an extra night so we could spend more time on the island. We had a very pleasant visit and only wish it had been longer. This is an ideal place to stay in Ischia. Hope to come back!
