Hotel Dania

I’m still staying here, and it’s been a cute, comfortable hotel. The drinks are good, and the staff, pool, and view are all great. A couple of staff members couldn’t speak much English, which is totally fine. I just wish the air conditioning got colder, but I love this place!

Breakfast was warm, delicious, and a real highlight. The café and bar team were energetic and helpful, just like the reception staff, especially Jose, who was always smiling. The stay was good overall. A couple of things could be better: one room socket was broken and still wasn't properly fixed after I reported it, and our towels weren't changed during the three days. There weren't enough power sockets either. I also think parking should be free for guests.

The view and location were the best parts of the hotel. Food was a letdown: there wasn't much to choose from, the same items appeared every day, and empty trays often stayed that way for a while. I even found a hair in the pizza. The room had very few outlets, so charging my phone meant unplugging something else. The shower stall was also so cramped that I'm not sure someone larger could use it comfortably.

The kids were sad when it was time to leave after our five nights here. We were a family of six, and the pool was a lovely place to unwind after days out exploring. From the pool and terrace bar, the sea views were great. Staff were friendly and very helpful, and the bus into Sorrento was convenient, with tickets for €1.50 at the nearby mini market. There's also a path behind the hotel down to a nice beach with around four restaurants. Breakfast was the weak point. We paid €15 each for it one morning, but the selection was tiny and mostly cake. The children were happy with that, though.
