After spending the day at the Poseidon spa, I got back to my room and found there was no water at all. The residence owners wouldn't respond. I later heard they'd told other guests that the problem wasn't theirs. Apparently water is turned off in Ischia on summer evenings, but nobody at Macapà warned us. They also had no water tank to cover the shortage, unlike other places. There was no breakfast, though at least there's a bar 200 meters away. There were no linens either, and they charge an extra €8 if you want them. If you're thinking of staying here, bring a 500-liter bottle of water, just in case. Happy Holiday....😥

The owners were kind and the staff courteous, which made for a holiday we won't forget. The property sits in a very quiet spot, yet Ischia's historic center is close by.

A peaceful, comfortable place. The sea and town center are both close enough to reach on foot, so it's a good fit if you like quiet.
