The hotel’s position by the lake is beautiful, and the pool and outdoor facilities are great. Both restaurants have a good selection, and the buffet breakfast offers plenty of choice. Pilzone itself is quiet, with little beyond a locals’ bar and a fantastic fruit shop. Trains to Iseo are infrequent, so it’s a great place to get away from everything.

We had dinner at Terrazza and really enjoyed the food, wine, and service. The service was excellent throughout our stay, and our balcony room looked out beautifully over the lake. We'd happily come back.

The staff were welcoming and accommodating from the moment we arrived. The hotel sits right by the beautiful lake, and Iseo town was an easy enough walk for us. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it.

8/10
The helpful staff, lovely room view, and balcony all made for a nice stay, and we especially enjoyed the pool and swimming in the lake. The setting is stunning. One disappointment was being charged €20 for a quick 500m lift to the station, when hotels of a similar standard offer that for free. The service also felt less personal than we'd hoped.

The pool was peaceful, had a beautiful view, and never seemed crowded while we were there. We also loved dinner in the bistro, both the food and the gorgeous setting. Breakfast was superb, the best we've had in Italy. Our room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with a side view of the lake even though we hadn't booked a lakeview room. The whole hotel was nicely done inside, not dated like some Italian four-star hotels can be. Everyone was friendly, and getting there was easy, just a seven-minute walk from the train stop in Pilzone. Araba Finice hotel exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to return.
