Hotel Arianna

After a recent work trip around the US, I was reminded how welcoming this stay felt compared with chain hotels in the States. The rooms were incredibly clean, too. The staff were amazing, the service was wonderful, and the rooms were comfortable. If you're lucky enough to be in the area, definitely stay here.

The location made things easy, with the station, supermarket, and town centre only a few minutes away on foot. Breakfast had a fantastic range, the staff were really friendly, and our room was neat and clean.

We were a group of three couples, and two additional people got sick the night before the trip. The hotel had no problem with us cancelling their room when we arrived. The common rooms, walls, windows, and hallways have all been refurbished, and some guest rooms have new bathrooms as well as new interiors. Others still have older bathrooms, but new furnishings. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We had a great stay and found the hotel good value. The staff at hotel Arianna in Iseo were lovely and very helpful. Iseo itself is a lovely town, without as many tourists as nearby Lake Garda destinations.

For travelers going by train, this was a convenient base. Iseo and Lake Iseo are beautiful, with Monte Isola and hiking nearby, and we also took a wine tour. The hotel is less than a five-minute walk from both the station and the lake and centre. Parking is free, though I think there are only five spaces. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and were happy to share a map or check for an early room if one was ready. Our room was comfortable and clean, basic but nice. No fridge, but it had AC and a blowdryer, and breakfast was included. My friend and I stayed for two days and it worked perfectly for our trip.
