Iseo Portelle Holiday

August 2024 We had some unforgettable days at Iseo Portelle Holiday in the Lovely attic apartment. Barbara made us feel at home as soon as we arrived, greeting us with a disarming smile and helping with our luggage. She was so courteous, and always attentive and available when we needed something. The apartment was super-equipped, super-clean, and super-comfortable. It's tucked into an ancient alleyway in the city, full of history and things to discover, but all the amenities are easy to reach. From the windows, you could breathe in the lake air and enjoy the beautiful Iseo from the morning on. Barbara also accompanied us to visit the wonders of Franciacorta. She clearly loves her area, and the way she talks about it makes you fall in love with it too. When we said goodbye and left the house, we felt like family. Staying there was better than home, better than with family. Thank you for everything, dear Barbara. We'll definitely see you again next year. God bless you and all your family🥰

We had a wonderful stay. The accommodation is beautifully renovated and tastefully furnished, with everything needed even for a medium-long stay. It's in a quiet spot just steps from the center of Iseo and the ferry dock. Barbara, the owner, was generous with advice and attention, and very helpful without being intrusive. Thank you very much.

Barbara made us feel very welcome and went out of her way to make our stay perfect. The apartment was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable, and everything had been thought of. We even had beer, water, and cookies waiting for us. We stayed five nights and had a wonderful time, and we'll definitely come back. It's right in the city center next to an osteria, which you can see and hear from the courtyard-facing window. The building is generally quite noisy, as is typical in Italy, though it was relatively quiet during our stay because there were hardly any other guests. The church bells are next door, but they didn't bother me. There's an underground parking garage about 300 meters away, which is fantastic, and secure bicycle storage in the building. I highly recommend the apartment. Thanks so much for everything, Barbara!

The best part of our stay was Barbara, a wonderful, exquisite, incredibly kind host. On our second day she brought us sweets from a local bakery, and there were a couple of beers in the fridge alongside the water. The apartment is cozy and incredibly comfortable, in a quiet, quaint alley in the heart of Iseo, close to shops and the lakefront. Fantastic stay, highly recommended, even just to meet Barbara.
