The place is centrally located and has a lovely setting. The room was clean, though that huge closed closet didn't feel very elegant. The shared room is very nice, but it isn't used for breakfast. Instead, breakfast is served at a café outside the building, where the lighting is dim and the choices are very limited. The price allowance barely covers a cappuccino and croissant. There was no air conditioning, and in the infernal heat this summer, a fan that seemed outdated in 2023 was all they had. A second fan would have been enough.

Ours was a spacious, clean room and would work for a family too. Parking was convenient and reasonably priced. It's the best B&B I've stayed at in Isernia so far. A couple of things let it down: the boiler was noisy, and the bathroom fixtures felt more like medieval torture devices than toilets and bidets. Breakfast was very basic and served outside at a bar.

We stayed the nights of 22-23/8. The room had no air conditioning, even though the description and rules said it did. There was just a small, noisy fan. Our windows faced a busy road with more than 500 meters of one-way downhill traffic, and neither night was sleepable. To get some rest, we set up a bed in the corridor using sheets from the open wardrobe. We were charged another 10 euros for doing that. Parking cost 5 euros a day, and bike storage was also 5 euros a day. The managers came across as arrogant and poorly informed, including about improvised covid laws. I won't go into that further because I don't want to respond in the same way. There were no clear directions, only extra charges and rude manners.

Right in the historic center of Isernia, this B&B is a good choice for a quiet, relaxing weekend. The indoor parking is handy, and the staff at the partner bar were friendly and helpful. The common area is comfortable and well equipped, and the whole place is meticulously maintained. Highly recommended!
