La Rosada B&B

We were there as a couple for one night. It’s a very nice property, only reachable on foot, but just a few minutes from the ferry terminal. The room was absolutely clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn’t included, perhaps because it was low season, but the property has arrangements with nearby bars.

We had a wonderful two-night stay in July at this lovely B&B. It’s so handy for the port, about a five-minute walk, and for nearby amenities. Our Maestrale room was just right for two, clean and welcoming. You can tell the owners care about the place. Fabio was a kind, attentive host, and his wife took care of my requests perfectly. Exceptional value for money, highly recommend!

The owners were kind and helpful, and breakfast was generous and varied every day. Our room was perfect, with a really comfortable private terrace, and the place had an exceptionally clean smell when we arrived. It’s less than a 10-minute walk from the ferry dock, up above the port. You get little glimpses of the sea and a breeze that feels lovely on muggy days. I hope to return to Giglio, and I won’t spend long searching for somewhere to stay next time. This B&B had everything we needed. Thank you!

The owners are kind and helpful, and the breakfast is excellent, with fresh local ingredients. They make the cakes and jams themselves, and you can choose sweet or savory. It’s a family-run place in Giglio Porto, just above the main road. Getting there means a short but fairly steep walk, and it’s accessible only on foot. The rooms are very clean and tidy, with all the necessary amenities. Each one is named after a main wind and decorated with maritime motifs. Some have a terrace with a sea or mountain view. The only small drawback was the curtains, which aren’t blackout, so morning light comes through the slats that don’t close. Excellent value for money.
