Hotel Ristorante La Decanata

We stayed for two nights in August and loved it. Our family room could sleep four and was spacious, with a large bathroom and a balcony. The place has clearly been around for a long time, but it's been completely renovated. The owners were very kind, there's ample parking, and breakfast is served on a patio beneath a beautiful wooden canopy. The location is excellent and the value is good. It's a shame the restaurant closed this year, although the lovely open kitchen still turns out delicious food. We'll definitely be back.

I had a comfortable stay with my motorbike, and the rooms were roomy. What stood out most was the family warmth. I know you can't expect five-star service, but that kind of welcoming atmosphere is something five-star hotels won't give you.

The rooms were clean and the owner was kind, but I wouldn't recommend staying here. The restaurant is permanently closed, and the hotel seems to be going the same way. It looks like they're not making money, so the water heater and air conditioning get switched off, and bills go unpaid, leaving no internet.

The owners were a lovely, helpful couple. One evening the gentleman even offered to drive us back from the nearby village, and he was always available. Our simple room had air conditioning, a TV, and a balcony, tucked into the quiet of this little village. We stayed on a Tuesday at the end of September, outside the season, and chose the place after seeing the strong food reviews. They were right: the fish was especially fresh and cooked really well, and the value alone makes a stay worthwhile. A good choice if you want peace and quiet close to the sea.
