The staff made the place feel calm and caring, and the hotel has a character all its own, with thought put into every detail. It feels tucked away and private, while still being close to some interesting local sights. A real five-star stay in Calabria. Thank you ❤️

What made my stay at Praia Art Resort so memorable was the team. Everyone I dealt with was warm, professional, and attentive to even small details, and they went out of their way to make our stay feel just right. Thank you to Salvatore, Alessandro, Anthony, Emilio, and the whole Praia Art Resort team for making it feel both luxurious and personal. The resort itself is beautiful too. This is a true boutique gem, and we’ll definitely be back. Grazie mille!

The grounds and beach area are fantastic, with happy, helpful staff, good food, and beach towels plus loungers and a parasol assigned by room number. The rooms are striking, in an “Albergo diffuso” layout with modern concrete and private gardens or yards; some have their own pools or hot tubs. It’s a pretty hotel, but for five stars I’d have liked a rug, two chairs, and maybe a coffee table in the roomy concrete-floored space. There was only one chair, no coffee or milk in the room, just tea, and the bed was uneven and uncomfortable. The blind was broken too. Around the pool and dining area, it felt understaffed. One night we waited an hour for food, and by the pool or sea you had to catch someone’s attention to order a drink, as staff didn’t come ask. Having only one restaurant got tiring after a couple of days. Breakfast was slow, with a queue to be served, and extras such as bacon or pancakes cost more. There isn’t much to do in the area, and you need a car to go anywhere. A taxi even to La Castella, just 15 minutes away, was very expensive. It was hard to figure out where to go despite doing a lot of research, and there weren’t enough organized trips. I would have booked a few tours if they’d been easy to find and arrange.

The beach was a real highlight, with assigned sunbeds and very friendly staff, and I had a really good time at praia art hotel. The place is lovely and the rooms look stunning, though they could use some care. A few little details made it clear that maintenance had been lacking, with some things not working.
