For €18 per person, the two-course deal at Marco Polo was good value. The pasta starters were the highlight: both the spaghetti bolognese and seafood pasta were delicious, with well-flavoured sauce and sensible portions. The mains were less convincing. Our grilled fish fillet and breaded calamari both felt small, and the side choices were underwhelming, just mixed greens or fries. Bigger mains and better sides would have made us pretty happy.

The pasta and seafood here were fresh and absolutely delicious. In a city where it can be hard to find a good meal that isn't a tourist trap, this was easily our best meal in Venice. Highly recommend!

I stumbled on this place by chance while walking around at night, and it turned out to be my best restaurant experience in Italy during my 10-day trip. The carbonara was the best I had on the trip. I followed it with their tuna tartare, one of their specialties, which was fresh and perfectly balanced with a glass of chianti. The tiramisu was just as good, more than I expected. Ricardo and Andrea were lovely, and finishing with grappa felt essential. I'll be back!

We found a table without a reservation after walking around Venice, which was a nice surprise. The place was clean and well kept, the waiter friendly and smiling, and service was quick. We ordered pizza and really enjoyed the typical Italian recipes and quality ingredients. Authentic atmosphere and delicious food. Highly recommended! 👋👋👋

After about 15 years, I came back to see if it was still as good as I remembered. It was. The service was great, and we had some of the best pasta of our trip: mine was some kind of gorgonzola and guanciale, and my husband's had truffle. A perfect lunch after exploring around Rialto and San Marco in the morning.
