Messner Palace

The AC in our room leaked onto the carpet, leaving a very unhealthy atmosphere. We all ended up with throat infections, which we felt were due to it. We told the front desk, but they only put a bucket underneath to catch the water and did nothing else. The carpets were dirty and smelled really bad, too. There was no glass around the bathtub, so water went everywhere when we showered. The hotel itself is very old and musty.

I was at hotel Messner in August, and the toilet wouldn't flush at all. Nobody at reception was willing to do anything. I asked for a refund and still haven't received a reply. Please avoid staying here if you don't want to be scammed.

There were multiple power outages, and we had no water or working TV in the room. It was also impossible to open the window because of all the dust on the sill and air unit. The room itself had a thick layer of dust, the carpet had several large stains, and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned and looked as if the previous occupant had used it. For the nightly rate they charged, I was horribly disappointed. This place is completely misrepresented, and it's clear why they have a no refund policy: you wouldn't want to stay here. Avoid like the plague!

We stopped in for lunch and got a warm welcome. The service was friendly and the food was super. We ordered two pasta dishes, and filled up so quickly that we couldn't try more, though we would've loved to. This hotel has a super restaurant.
