Manzoni Apartment

We booked these apartments in March. I paid the amount requested by the owner on Booking.com, and he asked us to send half the fee by bank transfer. The agency arranged that, but when we arrived in Le Castella, he said there was only one apartment available, for three people, and denied getting the transfer. After several discussions and phone calls, he added a bed that was extremely uncomfortable and charged us the difference. He also charged the difference again after a call from the website that handled the booking, when he suddenly remembered the transfer had arrived. The house was fairly clean, but there was open milk and jam in the fridge, which we obviously didn’t touch. And privacy? None at all. People and children were constantly walking past the kitchen and bedroom windows. I’ll never come back!
