Melifra Appartamento

The owners were lovely and quick to respond whenever we needed anything. They left us a fruit basket, water, and a bottle of Prosecco for our arrival, then brought freshly baked cake to our door the first morning. We’re grateful to Gianfranco and his family for such a special stay 🙏🏻 This is the most beautiful vacation apartment we’ve ever stayed in. It was spotless, extremely well cared for, and equipped with everything, including basics like spices, salt, and pepper. The modern decor is super cute, and every detail seems to have been considered. The whirlpool on the terrace, with its breathtaking view, was the highlight.

Gianfranco and Barbara's welcome was so warm, and their advice helped us find wonderful places and eat at some unique restaurants. They were incredibly available whenever we needed them and made us feel at home. My wife Carolina and I will always remember the experience, and we're sure we'll return for another holiday here. My wife and I spent an unforgettable week with another couple at Casa Melifra after Ferragosto 2024. The home is on the second floor in beautiful Ispica, with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. It's a real gem, with a large open-plan living room and kitchen, skylights that bring in lovely natural light, and two glass walls opening onto a terrace with a Jacuzzi and smart TV. There are two bedrooms, each with a skylight, and spacious, elegant bathrooms that are fully equipped. Though the area is quiet and residential, bars, supermarkets, tobacconists, and other essentials are a short walk away. The area's best beaches are 15 minutes by car, and Noto, Marzamemi, and Ortigia are about 25 minutes away. I can't think of a flaw and highly recommend it for a relaxing, restorative break in southeastern Sicily.

Barbara and Gianfranco welcomed us in person, with a few things to eat and drink ready for us. The next morning, a freshly baked cake was waiting for breakfast. They were kind, interested in us, and helpful with everything. The apartment was perfectly clean and furnished, and we felt at home. It was hard to leave, and we'd love to return. From the terrace jacuzzi, you can look out over the sea, and the skylights give you a view of the stars. Beaches are within a 15-minute drive, with lovely Baroque towns nearby. There's also a grocery shop and cafe close to the apartment.

Your kind words have really moved us, and we know you meant them. We feel lucky to have met you and gotten to know you.
