It’s a useful base for visiting Val di Noto and the nearby beautiful, unspoiled beaches, with the countryside’s quiet and calm to come back to. You’ll need a car, though. Supermarkets, a bakery, an ice cream shop, and other amenities are a few kilometers away. The apartment matched the photos and had what we needed for a medium or longer stay, including an eat-in kitchen, two bedrooms, and a balcony with a view. I couldn’t use the balcony because of the midges and mosquitoes. The two dogs and cats in the neighboring apartments kept us company and were great neighbors. Thanks to the host and her parents for the warm, kind welcome.

We had a fantastic, relaxing long weekend, and the hosts made us feel at home. We rented the upstairs apartment, which was just right for the two of us. It has the necessary comforts, including private parking, free Wi-Fi, a small kitchen, and a living room with a wood-burning fireplace for winter. The fabulous beaches are only a short drive away. The terrace overlooking the countryside was the real highlight. The surrounding greenhouses partly block the view, but the sunsets are still breathtaking. We’d highly recommend this vacation rental. We had a lovely stay in the ground-floor apartment with its own garden. It’s clean and welcoming, surrounded by greenery and very peaceful, with enchanting beaches just minutes away. The owners are kind and helpful. Highly recommended.

The clean house is only five minutes from the beautiful, quiet beaches of Santa Maria del Focallo, and it’s well placed for exploring Val di Noto. The staff were friendly and always available. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely come back!
