La casa di Ulisse 1

We stayed upstairs and loved the beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. The house was clean and had everything, including a washing machine, even though we didn’t need to use it for a stay of about two days. It would be handy for a longer visit. The bed was comfortable, the bedroom nice, and there was also a living room with kitchen, plus a bathroom. Giovanna, who looks after the house, was incredibly kind and helpful. She felt friendly and easy to talk to right from the start. Michele, the owner, was kind and attentive too. It’s a peaceful house out in the countryside, with Ulisse beach just a few meters away, about a minute by car. It can be quite breezy, but I liked that since it kept things from getting too hot. There’s air conditioning. Just bring groceries and your personal things, everything else is there. I’ll definitely return next summer, perhaps for at least 15 days instead of two, and maybe stay downstairs. The downstairs house is lovely and spacious, with an outdoor patio, fireplace, barbecue, outdoor shower, vegetable garden/garden, a lovely bedroom, and a sofa in the living room. It has everything, and is even more beautiful. I was pleased with the stay, and so were my parents, who were with me. See you soon, and thanks for everything.

Michele and Mrs. Giovanna gave us such a warm welcome and were friendly and extremely helpful. The house is lovely and a great fit if you’re after some peace and quiet. It’s also well placed, about half an hour from the area’s most interesting towns and main beaches. I’d gladly come back. ❤️

The owner’s generosity and helpfulness really made the stay stand out. I hadn’t met him before, and I didn’t know Sicily very well either, but his hospitality left a strong impression on me. The comfortable, fully equipped apartment is right opposite a lovely little beach, and the superb San Lorenzo beach is about 20 minutes away. There’s even a grill on the ground floor.

The house is a good choice for a truly relaxing holiday, with the beach just a five minute walk away. Its location also makes it easy to get to various tourist spots in only a few minutes, including Marzamemi, Portopalo, Pozzallo, and Modica.
