Villa Is Murtas Cardedu 39766

We stayed for nine days and enjoyed it so much that we're already planning a return visit. This family-run residence is quiet, clean, and well cared for, with a sea view. Our apartment had a full kitchen, bathroom, air-conditioned bedroom, veranda with a drying rack, and parking just a few steps away. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent each morning, with both sweet and savory options. The pool is only a few minutes away and has no restrictions. The staff were courteous, friendly, and exceptionally helpful. It's a relaxing base within reach of beaches we wanted to visit, including Cea, Lido di Orrì, Cala Ginepro, Foxillioni, and Spiaggia di Su Sirboni. Barisardo, Tortolì, and Arbatax are also not far away. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at Residence Is Murtas. After a day at the beach, the pool and tennis court made this hotel complex a lovely place to unwind. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Dinner was relaxing, the food was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable.

It's a very pleasant, family-friendly place, but quite remote. There isn't much happening in the evenings.

We stayed at Residence Is Murtas for two weeks in August with our three older children. The setting is beautiful, up in the mountains inland, with views over the plains, mountains, and sea. The whole complex was clean and impeccably maintained. Our well-equipped apartment had a terrace overlooking the sea, where we could eat outside each evening. I don't think I've ever stayed somewhere where I truly didn't miss a thing. At the end of each week, they gave the apartment a thorough clean and changed the linens, something I've rarely experienced. The pool is fantastic, and there are no strict closing hours or required swimming caps, as there often are in Italy. The family running the residence were welcoming and quick to answer any questions. It's a wonderful place if you want somewhere quiet and a little secluded. Our children would have preferred more to do in the afternoons and evenings, perhaps a small bar for ice cream or a drink. Instead, we kept the fridge stocked and sometimes drove to Tortoli, about 25 minutes away, where there was more going on. We had no trouble with cell phone reception. Wi-Fi reached the hotel area but not our apartment. I can't give the place less than five stars. A big thank you to Elisa and her family!
