Hotel Al Mare

Our booking elsewhere was cancelled at the last minute, so we were lucky to find Al Mare residences available. The four of us, including my two adult daughters, had plenty of room in our third-floor apartment: one bedroom, two balconies, two single beds and a queen bed. One balcony faced the Adriatic sea. The kitchen and dining area had everything we needed, though we only used it for breakfast. The room was cleaned and the towels changed daily. The beach was just 50m away, and the main street only 30m in the other direction. We had two sunbeds and an umbrella on a private beach, plus free parking. We rented a car for two days to visit a few cities nearby. There were restaurants, grocery stores and lots of fancy shops close by. If we return to this beautiful beach, Al Mare will be our first choice. Thanks from visitors from Toronto, Canada.

The staff were welcoming and kind, and spoke English for anyone who doesn’t know Italian. I liked the food at both breakfast and dinner, too. The rooms were clean, tidy and really spacious, more like having a whole apartment to yourself. I’m not sure why some other reviews are so bad, because I had a great time here.

We stayed for nine nights and really enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was so good. Hope we can visit again. Highly recommend.

We stayed February 2-4 in room 203, in the hotel residence about 50 meters from the beach. It was modern and well equipped. Breakfast was served in the hotel restaurant, with plenty to choose from, including cold cuts, ham, cheese, sweets, coffee and soft drinks, the usual sort of hotel breakfast. The receptionist was very kind and helpful when we checked in and out. We’re planning to come back with the family. :)
