Housekeeping came into our room without knocking while I was in my underwear. That was a serious breach of privacy. Breakfast service was also painfully slow: cappuccinos took 20-30 minutes, sometimes arriving after we'd finished eating. We booked two rooms for the family, but only one was ready at check-in. Nobody told us when the other became available, and its phone didn't work, so I had to go to reception to ask. The spa was a big reason we chose the hotel, yet we were told to leave after a few minutes because our children were supposedly too noisy, even though they were behaving normally. The same thing happened the following day, while other families with kids were allowed to stay. It felt inconsistent and unfair. Only one of the two elevators worked, so we faced waits of 10-15 minutes throughout the stay. In the room, the TV stayed stuck loading, and a loose piece on the balcony came off, which could have been dangerous. The building is attractive, clean, and well kept. That's the one thing it has going for it. The service, organization, and management were well below standard. I regularly stay at wellness hotels with my family, including abroad, and have never had an experience like this. A lovely hotel that's very poorly run, nowhere near five-star service. I wouldn't recommend it, especially to families.

We felt welcome from the moment we arrived with our family and our little dog Felix. The team was warm and professional throughout, and everything was exceptionally clean. Our suite was huge, stylish, and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the sea and facilities of a very high standard. The outdoor pool was spacious and well maintained, too. We had a really lovely stay and would gladly recommend Almar Jesolo Suites & Spa. Many thanks to the management and the whole team for such excellent hospitality.

There is potential here: the location is good, and with better attention to management and detail the hotel might live up to its five-star claim. I'm offering this as constructive feedback, not simply to criticize. The rooms called “superior junior suites” (232, 332, 432, 532) have only a partial sea view and sit directly above the kitchen. You hear the ventilation and kitchen equipment all day, then get the smell of fried food in the evening. We were there off-season, occupancy was no more than 60-70%, and we were still assigned one of these rooms. The balcony was hard to use: noisy and smelly by day, full of mosquitoes at night, with no screens on the windows. The sea view is barely there. The lobby is practically just a big sofa in worn faux leather. That's about where the comfort stops. The space needs a redesign. Elevators are slow and need adjusting, and the rooms are extremely modest. None of that feels like a real five-star standard. There also seemed to be too many guests with pets, and all the dogs around the property affected the atmosphere and comfort. The hotel should reconsider how many it accommodates. The basics need more attention: comfortable rooms, quiet, and good accommodation. The place currently earns a solid four stars at most, despite being advertised as five.

The spa and breakfast were both excellent, and the staff were so friendly. We had a lovely relaxing stay at Almar Jesolo Resort. The room was beautiful and the sea view was stunning. Highly recommended.
