Hesperia Hotel & Residence

We’d already been told that breakfast wasn’t included, which was no problem. We could order it whenever we wanted, it wasn’t expensive, and the coffee was especially tasty. The hotel is clean and modern, our room was very quiet, and the security system was good. The receptionists were friendly and helpful, and the housekeepers left our room really clean. The wellness area isn’t big, but it’s very well arranged and we loved it. Highly recommended, we’ll come back again. #703

I celebrated my birthday here. The view was beautiful, reception was very friendly, and the room was clean. Breakfast, which you order separately, was very good, and there are nice restaurants nearby. It’s four minutes to the beach. My husband told reception it was my birthday, but we didn’t get a discount or even congratulations. Still, the hotel is nice, and so are the sauna and pool.

The staff and the atmosphere they create are what make this hotel stand out. Even though it’s a large hotel, they made us feel like we were at a small family business. In general, we were satisfied. Everything was as it should be. We’ll definitely return whenever we’re in the region.

The air conditioning unit had a defect and was so loud that we couldn’t sleep all night. We told the staff before dinner, but when we returned, it still hadn’t been fixed. The next morning we raised the trouble this caused, especially since we’d lost one night of sleep during a two-night stay. We were met with a wall of indifference and no concern for the customer. They wouldn’t let us speak to the manager because our issue wasn’t considered important enough. They also said that because we’d booked early at a discounted price, they wouldn’t offer any further discount to make up for the inconvenience. They made us feel like beggars. We’d worked hard to save for those rooms, and that’s how we were treated. I felt tremendously offended.
