Hotel Colorado

The room smells strongly of sweat all the time unless the AC is on. When it switches off, the smell comes back. I checked, and it wasn't just my room that smelled. As for service, they don't change the sheets every day. There were blood stains on my pillow, and they still didn't change the sheets. They made the bed look neat, as if they had.

The terrace was really cool, and from the fifth floor you can see caribe bay. The waiters were very nice, and the beds were a little bit comfy, but some of the hotel beds were broken into a circle. The parking was super crowded and cars were parked badly. The toilet was very stinky, and the shower only had a fluffy shower blanket. The pillows weren't comfortable either.

Our room was small but perfectly enough for two nights, and breakfast was amazing, with a huge selection of fresh fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice. Free parking is included in the price when there's a spot, and the private beach, a five-minute walk away, has loungers and an umbrella included too. There are great restaurants nearby, and beach entertainment goes on through the day. It's a 25-minute drive to Punta Sabbioni, then a 60-minute ferry ride to Venice. All in all, a perfect place for a short or long holiday in Italy.

The staff came across as bordering on rude and lacking empathy. Everyone seemed to be a manager, or said they were when we asked to speak to one. The rooms weren't as advertised, and the arrangement didn't match what the hotel had confirmed. Our room was small, had no balcony, and no sea view, despite those features being advertised and confirmed in the booking. Parking wasn't suitable for family cars. Don't take a GLS or X7, the car park is too small.
