Hotel Columbia & Ninfea

Right by the beach, and the location couldn't be better. The owner is around all the time, the staff are nice, and breakfast is great. Everything was perfect.

The balcony looked out over the Adriatic sea, and the view was amazing. The room had just been renovated and the hotel was extremely clean. The front desk ladies were very helpful from the moment I arrived, and they spoke English. Breakfast was exceptional too. I've traveled a lot, and this hotel is second to none. I was headed to slovenia and had planned to go to Greece, but this place felt like heaven, so I'll come back for a week instead, then head home to Canada. I'd highly recommend it.

The free parking is well organized, but the lot near the hotel is almost always full, so you'll likely need to use the larger lot 500 meters away. Keep the evening road closure in mind too: Via Andrea Bafile is closed to cars from 8 pm, which can matter if you're arriving late. The hotel is right on the beach and breakfast was excellent. Our clean room had a balcony and a side sea view, though it was small, and the walls are quite thin.

The hotel was modern and very clean, with no smells or dirt that we noticed. It's in a handy spot next to a bus stop and not too far from the lighthouse. Breakfast was fine for a 3-star place, with a good mix of sweet and savory food. The parking situation was a real problem, though: there's almost no space, and you even have to leave your car key at reception so they can move the car. We also had to remind them to give back the money for the canvas chairs.
