Hotel Ettoral

The beach is close, and the sunbeds are fine. Breakfast was good too, though the orange juice was awful and there was no salami. My main disappointment was the lack of a fridge in the room. There’s only a large one at reception, and it has no freezer. Even one- and two-star hotels have room fridges, so I don’t think a three-star hotel should be without one.

The room was cold, damp, and uncomfortable, with visible signs of pests. It also looked much older and less maintained than the photos online. When we asked about heat, the staff offered a solution only for an extra €100, even though we were clearly cold. I found that unacceptable. There was no heater, iron, or kettle. When I asked about those basics, the response felt dismissive, as if I was unreasonable to ask. Communication was frustrating too: instead of calmly dealing with our concerns, the staff became defensive and unwelcoming. This stay was a real disappointment. I wouldn’t come back, and I’d advise others to look elsewhere unless the facilities and customer service improve.

The place felt cold in every sense, and I definitely wouldn’t return. We couldn’t find much nearby, barely a cafe or supermarket, and it was far from the attractions and city centre. The room was old, damp, and uncomfortable, and didn’t look like the pictures. When we asked for a kettle, water, and an iron, the staff acted as though we were asking too much. I’d hoped for a nice stop with the family, but it turned into the worst experience.

We were there for just one night, and everything was fine. Breakfast was tasty with a good variety, and the woman at reception was kind. 😊
