Hotel Kennedy

Breakfast was the bright spot here: fresh products and a 10/10 breakfast service. The staff were cheerful and kind, and cleaned our room each day while we were out. They were very nice, which makes it hard to write this, but the rooms shown as the hotel's best aren't guaranteed. We paid the same as for the other rooms and ended up in one that felt like a broom closet. It was tiny, with two single beds we had to separate even though we had booked them that way, and then we were short on duvets. The small, stiff pillow was hard to sleep on. High windows under the ceiling had curtains and a long ledge, so there was no view, balcony, or sense of being connected to the outside, which matters when you're staying by the beach. The restaurant was another problem. The food seemed frozen and microwaved. My friend ordered carbonara and I had spaghetti bolognese, and we both got sick at the same time and were stuck in the bathroom for a while. After that we ordered delivery. It was a shame, since it was my first time in Italy and I wanted to try genuine Italian cuisine. The hotel has potential, but it should bring all rooms up to the same standard or clearly explain what room guests might get. The restaurant should serve fresh food instead of reheated dishes. The menu is too big to keep up with, so I’d suggest making it smaller and preparing everything fresh. I wish I could give a better review for the staff's sake, but it is what it is. I still wish the hotel the best.

Getting to Venice was easy enough for a day out: two bus rides (no2then no5) and one boat ride cost just €25 in total. The hotel itself sits right on a private beach, with great restaurants nearby, and the street is closed off at night, which makes it a lovely place to be. Our room was excellent and spotless. The staff were responsive, helpful, and very friendly, and breakfast was a joy, with cooked food, continental options, cakes, and fruit. A great holiday.

At Hotel Kennedy, we had a lovely stay. The location was perfect for enjoying Lido di Jesolo, and our room was clean and comfortable. Staff were always smiling, friendly, and helpful.
