Beautiful.

We were already thinking about next season before leaving, especially since we still haven't tried the rest of the menu. My wife and I stayed at La Maree for three nights on the first weekend of August, after getting curious because we often go to their Terrazza Breeze. The owner, Max, was welcoming and courteous from the start. The hotel is right on the seafront but away from noisy Via Bafile, and we agree with the praise other guests have given its location. We chose full board and enjoyed the generous breakfast and Chef Marco's menu. I doubt many two-star hotels offer the same. The rooms were clean, and everyone on staff was courteous and helpful. Parking, a beach umbrella and loungers, and bicycles for exploring Jesolo are included. The value for money is hard to beat, even compared with places in a slightly higher category.

Dining feels almost like sitting on a veranda, with the restaurant overlooking the beach. At breakfast we had a lovely selection and could admire the sunrise; lunch and dinner brought plenty of choice too, with generous portions of classic Italian and international dishes. Being so close to the sea, the place is peaceful. We could sleep with the windows open without using the air conditioning. The owners and staff were always friendly and available. The setting is beautiful, and the quality for the price is truly excellent. I highly recommend it.
