Hotel Miami

The location is both close to the main street and beach and pleasantly quiet. Tourist shops are about two minutes away on foot, the beach five minutes, and a regular supermarket ten. The beds were comfortable, the modern rooms and bathrooms well equipped, and daily cleaning was excellent. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was fairly limited: eggs, bacon, muesli, flakes, pastries, fruit, yogurt, and some decent cheese and ham. I did enjoy chatting with the friendly, hardworking restaurant staff. In June there was plenty of public beach space, so paying 12 euros a day for an umbrella and two beds felt questionable. There’s no kettle or iron, and the minibar is so ineffective that your own food spoils quickly.

For the first of May weekend in May 2025, I paid a reasonable rate through the official website for two days, and felt the hotel offered solid value. My room was about 20 square metres, roomy by Lido di Jesolo standards, with a balcony, minibar fridge and air conditioning, though I didn’t need the AC. The staff were friendly, especially the woman at the bar. Breakfast was tasty and had plenty of choice. The hotel is in a quiet area with lots of restaurants and bars, about a 15-minute walk from Jesolo city centre and five minutes from the main beach and promenade. WiFi was stable and peer-to-peer friendly, with good ping and around 3.0 MB/s. There’s a garage with roughly 20 spaces, free if one is available, plus street parking nearby, though finding a space in high season can be a big problem. Smoking isn’t allowed in rooms, which I appreciated, but you can smoke on the balconies or in the patio and garden by the pool. I’d rate it 9/10 for the price and location on such a busy weekend. Some updates are needed. The breakfast area can get crowded, the bar could stay open longer and offer more than toast, and there’s just one small lift. The outdoor pool isn’t heated, so it’s really only usable in summer.

It was okay, though nothing special. For what we paid for a decent hotel, the place felt a bit too basic, almost like a hostel. I was disappointed.

It was my first trip to Italy and the hotel was a good choice. The rooms are on the small side, but they and the rest of the hotel were exceptionally clean. Every room has a balcony and a free safe. Reception staff were really friendly and helpful, and there’s a bar with happy hour, a decent-sized pool and bikes guests can use for free. Breakfast was simple but nice, with fresh food. You have to choose your evening meals in advance, which may not suit everyone. I can see how it helps reduce food waste, though. I’d stay here again.
