Park Hotel Cellini

The food was the biggest letdown. It looked appealing, but the ingredients and cooking were often poor. Meals were frequently under-seasoned, and over several days it became clear that some food was carried over from earlier service. It lost freshness and appeal, and I can’t rate the cooking above one star. I’d suggest booking bed and breakfast only. The beachfront location is a real strength, with direct access to the sand and sea. Our rate included an umbrella and two sun loungers on a well-kept beach. Each umbrella had a lockable compartment, with the key band available from reception, so we could secure valuables while swimming. The outdoor pool area was pleasant, with well-arranged loungers and seating, and drinks by the pool. Dining areas were suitably arranged, including outdoor seating. We stayed ten days in September 2025 in a clean, well-kept Deluxe Room with a partial side sea view. It felt like a “three-star superior” room. Housekeeping was excellent, with high-standard daily cleaning, though sounds from the room carried into the corridor because the door opened straight onto it. The hotel is officially four stars, but its standard seemed closer to a solid three-star level to me, given the difference between Italian and international ratings. Maintenance was adequate, though some areas needed repainting or better finishes. There’s only one lift, so waits could be long, especially for people on higher floors or with mobility restrictions. Parking was included but limited on site, with overflow spaces 500 meters away. Trees in the on-site parking left a lot of resin on our car during the ten-day stay, and removing it took time and money. Some tree maintenance would help prevent that. The hotel can still make for an enjoyable seaside holiday and good value if you expect a three-star standard. Its beach, pool, location, and housekeeping were strong points. Allow for the lift, maintenance, and parking drawbacks, and take care where you park.
