Residence Laguna Park

The huge pool was a highlight, and being so close to the sea and beach meant it was easy to forget about them while swimming. We had a quiet ground-floor apartment facing the pool, in a central area full of shops. The Famila supermarket is nearby and easy to reach with a shopping cart, with no steps. My wife was there with the girls in May, and I joined them in the evenings and on weekends without any trouble. The residence is next to the police station. I left my car in the underground garage for two weeks. We arranged everything directly with the owner, with no agency fees, after finding the listing on Subito and Kijii. It worked really well for our family, even with very young children, and I’d happily come back.

The complex itself is nice, but it’s huge, run-down in places, and noisy, so it doesn’t feel very peaceful. I wouldn’t recommend it to families or anyone looking for a restful stay. The apartment was far below what I expected: no bedside tables or breakfast cups, an ancient TV, uncomfortable beds, and really poor furnishings.

Just to be clear, Laguna isn’t a hotel. It’s a private luxury apartment complex. Some owners rent out their apartments, but they do it privately.

We’re back for our second year and still love this lovely residence. The common areas are kept clean, and the pool is fantastic and huge. Our apartment is nice too, though the sofa bed could use replacing. It’s close to the Laguna center and the Famila supermarket.
