Residence Il Tiglio

We had dinner and stayed the night while spending two days exploring Tropea and Capo Vaticano. The first courses were fabulous, and the food overall was excellent, real traditional Calabrian cooking. The place was clean and the staff welcoming. We’ll come back!

The owners were friendly and pleasant during our short stay. The rooms were clean and welcoming, and the local food was delicious and well prepared.

The food and breakfast were simple, tasty, and authentic, and everyone on staff was incredibly kind. My husband and I spent a day in this little paradise and fell in love with it. We stayed in one of the three bungalows, which was impeccably clean, as were the shared areas. There’s a swimming pool with loungers and games for children. Highly recommend!

The food is excellent and the prices are very good. We stayed for a week at Il Tiglio, and Mr. Gennaro was a delight, as were the rest of the staff. Everyone was polite, cheerful, and attentive, always trying to meet guests’ needs. Our room was comfortable and clean, with sheets changed and towels replaced daily. There’s a green outdoor area with a small but adequate pool, deck chairs, umbrellas, a gazebo, and play equipment for little ones. It’s a peaceful place to spend a few hours away from the tourist bustle this time of year. We’re on our way home now, but would gladly return. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING.
