I’ve been back after my first visit, and I can confirm how good this place is. Giovanna manages it with real passion and pride, and it’s a people-focused hotel. She’s an asset to L’Aquila. I’m already looking forward to visit number three. On my first stay, I found it a wonderful hotel and a great base for seeing L’Aquila on foot. Everything seemed arranged with guests in mind. The room was extremely comfortable, the rainforest shower fantastic, and the amenities were high quality. The room’s high-tech lighting and heating system was set up very well. Staff were welcoming at all hours, from the kind driver who picked me up at the bus station in style to the front-of-house team and management. The chef put a lot of passion into a hearty breakfast. I’ll definitely return and recommend it as one of the best central hotels of its kind in Italy. It deserves five stars.

The hotel was okay, but much too hot for me. Reception controls the room temperature, and even after I called, they kept it too warm. It was also hard to find by car because there aren’t many signs. Parking is limited and needs to be reserved 48 hours before arrival. If parking hadn’t been an issue, I’d rate the location 5/5.

There’s a small parking area, both inside and outside. We drove past the hotel a couple of times before spotting it, even though it’s marked on Google Maps. The name is small and off to the side, so you have to look carefully. I liked the hotel a lot.
