The pool and views are lovely, though getting around really calls for a car. The restaurant serves good food, but it gets extremely busy, and breakfast has a good range. The hotel seems to be in the middle of work, with some high-quality and quirky features.

We had a nice breakfast and parking was available right at the property. It's a modern, new place, very clean and quiet, about 15 minutes from L'Aquila Center. I can highly recommend it.

Breakfast is solid, and onsite Spapizzar serves Abruzzese dishes, pizza, and skewers. Rooms are clean and quiet, with a seasonal outdoor pool and hot tub. It's a useful base outside the center, with free parking. Rates are typically around €70-€110 a night, a good practical full-service option if you want comfort without fuss.

I was there for one night on a business trip. The room was spacious, but several things weren't working. The aircon remote was missing, and I was told to sleep with the window open. My room was on the ground floor, and the shower tap was broken too. It was late, so I didn't ask to move rooms. With all the good reviews, I expected decent basic service. Maybe I was just unlucky.
