A nice place.

Alessia was lovely, dependable, and gave us very thorough tips on where to eat. Breakfast was generous, and the property is beautiful, very close to the Campo Imperatore cable car. We stayed in the "Lupo" room, which was small but nice. The cleanliness was disappointing, though: the floor was dirty and the sheets were stained. They weren't replaced the next day, and the towels weren't changed either, although the bathroom itself wasn't dirty. Such a shame about the cleaning.

The room was lovely and well kept apart from the carpet, but the balcony was really more of a French window and faced the main road. Even with double glazing, we didn't sleep well because of the noise. There was no reception, and instead of the breakfast we’d paid for, we found a small bag of snacks, yogurt, juice, and a few other things left the night before. We were told this was because the restaurant was being sanitized that morning. Since booking required prepayment, I think they should have told us beforehand and let us decide whether to stay or go elsewhere. I found the B&B on Booking.com after seeing the room photos.

Breakfast was a highlight, with delicious homemade desserts served restaurant-style. I was there for one work night, and the room, though small, felt cozy; the bathroom was comfortable too. The area is quiet, about 20-25 minutes from L'Aquila, and seems like it could work well as a winter base for skiing.
