The owner, Laura, was very helpful and knows the area well, which was a real plus. The rooms are spacious, though a little basic. It’s a lovely B&B on beautiful La Maddalena, about a 10-minute walk from the center.

The room was a decent size, but there was no little balcony, and the bedding was uncomfortable. The neighborhood was noisy, and the shower grout in the bathroom was moldy. Breakfast was only vacuum-packed items. The fridge was out in the hallway, so it wasn’t private, and there was a thermometer on it. Maybe they were worried we’d get sick at their B&B! We arrived within the time slot we’d requested, but the room still wasn’t ready: the bed hadn’t been made, the previous guests’ breakfast was still on the table, and there was a thermometer on the bedside table. The welcome was mediocre. In short, I’d avoid this place.

The room was clean and basic, but had all the services needed. The owner was very kind and added thoughtful extras, like sweets or an aperitif, which I wouldn’t expect at a B&B.

We had a good price and didn’t feel like anything was missing. Laura was kind and helpful, and it’s a nice place.

Laura gave us lots of useful recommendations for places to visit and restaurants, and she’s a wonderful hostess. Thanks for the warm welcome. We’ll be back!
