My husband and I booked this place in June and were surprised by the condition of the apartment. Everything felt old and not very clean. We’d never heard of having to pay extra for towels and sheets, and I found that unprofessional. There were also extra charges for cleaning the room and for check-in outside the specific free check-in hours. The service generally felt quite unprofessional. I’m surprised this hotel has such good reviews, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Marcos was a nice guy and told us the things we needed to know about La Maddallena. The room was very clean, had plenty of kitchen items, and the location was good, with everything nearby on the island. We didn’t use any services. One downside is that sheets and towels aren’t included. You have to pay €9,00 to borrow them from the hotel, which seems inconvenient when you’re travelling.

We had a great time at Blue Baita during the Ferragosto week. Marco sent the instructions on WhatsApp right away and shared lots of tips for beaches to see and places to eat without spending too much. The apartment was clean, cute, and nicely furnished, in a quiet area close to the sea. We appreciated the free upgrade, and the capsule coffee machine made breakfast easier. Parking was useful too, as it was almost always in the shade. For the time of year we stayed, we thought it was good value. We’ll very likely come back next year!
