The hotel is conveniently placed just outside the city, but the facilities and service need improvement. Breakfast was average. They charged €3 to rent an umbrella and €2 per towel, while these were free everywhere else we stayed.

The staff were very friendly, and the location was handy: just outside the city center, quiet, walkable, and next to a supermarket. The beds were quite hard. Breakfast was okay, though the choices weren’t very varied and it seemed to be the same each day, as far as I could tell from our two-night stay. Hotel delle Isole has rooms decorated with traditional Sardinian furniture, which gives them an authentic feel. They were spacious and clean, too. A restaurant right across from the hotel serves delicious local food. The location made getting around easy. There’s a market shop a minute away for essentials, and the characteristic town center is just a three-minute walk. I had a delightful stay in La Maddalena, with a good mix of comfort, convenience, and local charm.

We had a nice two-night stay. The owner was kind and offered help and suggestions for exploring the beautiful island. Parking was always available. Our room was clean and a good size, with a fairly large terrace and a nice view. Breakfast was okay, and the croissants were delicious and really fresh. Thanks for hosting us :)

It’s quiet at night, and downtown is only a short 5-10 minute walk away. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were kind and attentive. They also gave us great suggestions for restaurants and boat tours. Breakfast was amazing, with espresso service. This is where you want to stay in La Maddalena.
