Chez Moillet

We spent a week here in early August. The house in the hamlet of La Clusaz in La Salle is lovely and practical, tucked into greenery. There’s a living area with a sofa bed and a new, spotless kitchenette beside a double-door wardrobe. The bedroom is at the far end, minimalist but very comfortable, and the bathroom sits at the top of a flight of stairs, which is unusual and quite characteristic. There are two entrances, one main and one from the garage, and two parking spots, one covered and one uncovered. The location has its upsides and downsides. It’s peaceful and surrounded by greenery, but you’ll need the car for even basic necessities. The owners were kind and answered our questions. It would have been useful to find brochures or maps of local activities in the apartment, perhaps a suggestion for next time. For two to four people looking for somewhere clean and functional in a green setting, this apartment is a good fit.
