We were left stranded. We had already warned them we would arrive late, but they stopped answering our calls. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you don't want to risk being left without help.

The rooms are spacious and lovely. Finding a place to park here is the one real problem, it seems impossible.

We had a good rate, and Ilaria was easy to reach by phone and WhatsApp. Just double-check the address when you book, since the property handles several places in the same area, and call for detailed directions. Our room had its own coded entrance, a balcony, and a large whirlpool tub. It was bright, clean, well furnished, and had a fridge, TV, kettle, and air conditioning. The train station and Porta Mirabello are both an easy walk away, and La Pia Centenaria is just steps from the door for Ligurian pizza and focaccia.

My New Year's Eve was ruined by this. I booked and paid through Booking.com five days before my stay, then exchanged messages to get information. The evening before I was due to leave, a different property with different features contacted me to thank me for the booking and say they were happy to welcome me. There'd been no official notice about the change, and the communication that followed felt incredibly dishonest.
