There was no reception, so everything was handled over WhatsApp. The room was dark and tiny, with just one lamp, and the bed lump was not functional. The pictures on the booking site had been retouched to look much brighter and cozier than the room really was. It was also noisy at night, with people passing by shouting or singing. There was no soap, which I think is important nowadays, so we asked and they brought a large shower gel and shampoo instead. My husband and I stayed there for a weekend after finding it on booking. For us, it was live and learn: don't believe the photos.

The rooms are old, and the bathroom wasn't clean. Sleep was impossible because the alley was so noisy. When we arrived at the apartment, we waited a long time and nobody answered the phone. There's no one at reception. The staff weren't friendly, and the rooms are expensive for what you get.

The room and bathroom were both large, but we could hear everything people said in the hallway. We also didn't have Wi-Fi because the password wasn't posted anywhere. There are only four rooms in the hotel, which is hard to find. Go around the corner by the pizza restaurant and look for the first door, number 17 on the buzzer, with a small hotel sign above it. It's self check-in, so you need to call the owner when you arrive to get instructions for entering. I hadn't known that, but luckily my phone was on roaming and I could call.

The apartment was dirty and noisy, and the experience was bad. Expensive for what it offers.
