The host was friendly and gave us useful information about Cinque Terre. With the station only 200 metres away, arriving and leaving with heavy bags was easy, and we didn’t need a taxi. The room is small but thoughtfully laid out, with a very comfortable bed, a little fridge, and a kettle with tea and coffee. There’s a small supermarket about 500 metres away. The restaurant next door does an excellent international breakfast for 7 Euros, though lunch or dinner there is a different proposition, with courses starting at around 20 Euros in a white tablecloth setting. I’d fully recommend staying here.

The room was roomy, with a comfortable bed and good water pressure, though the shower itself is tiny. Being so near the train station was convenient, but also meant noise. There was no breakfast or place to leave our bags for the day, so before exploring Cinque Terre we paid for both at the station.

We walked everywhere in La Spezia, including to restaurants, the market, pharmacy, and ferry port. One day we took the ferry to isola palmaria and Porto venere, then the next we rode the train to corniglia to hike the cinque Terre. The location worked perfectly for our three-day honeymoon, and we’re still dreaming about the stay. Vilma and her husband met us at the hotel, shared suggestions for our honeymoon, and were lovely hosts. Our room and bathroom were cute and very clean, with the room cleaned each day. There was complimentary coffee, tea, and biscuits, too. Thank you Vilma!

Fantastic location, and I’d stay here again. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the host was lovely, and the AC worked well. Warm water, though the pressure was low.

The main issue is for travelers with ore luggage: you have to carry it up two flights of stairs to reach the room.
