The apartment has a relaxed, lazy Italian village feel around it. It’s a little remote, so a car would be a better choice for getting around. Be sure to keep a close eye on local bus times since buses don’t run very often. The girl who gave us the keys explained everything clearly. The room was decent and clean, and the WiFi was good.

Francesca was very kind and friendly, and her husband Nicola is a great chef at the nearby rest./bar Il Guardino. It’s a nice place to stay, with a view of La Spezia and close to Cinque Terre. Good for an overnight stop on a road trip.

The room was tidy and clean, with a coffee machine and kettle, and the owner handed me the keys when I arrived. The glass door lets in light early in the morning and woke me up, and there’s no window. Wi-Fi was very weak. Parking is on the street, so you have to find a spot. At 75€, I thought the price was a little high.

The rooms were clean and much larger than we expected. The bus to Riomaggiore was running on an odd schedule, so they picked us up at La Spezia train station. Thanks, Francesca and Linda!
