This is the best place I’ve stayed in Italy so far. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, with a modern look. All the appliances worked well, and the shower with its rain showerhead was so comfortable I didn’t want to get out! They’d left snacks and water in the room. The owner was really nice, too. He met us downstairs at the front door and clearly explained where the nearby restaurants were and shared sightseeing information. Breakfast is included and served at two nearby cafés.

The room was clean enough, and the shower had good pressure and hot water. There were snacks and a large bottle of water in the fridge. But the air conditioning did NOT work. We’d paid for two nights, and after waking at 3am following a sleepless, hot night, we packed up and paid again for somewhere else to stay the second night.

Gianluca met us, handed over the keys, and gave us all the useful details about restaurants, train tickets, and more. The rooms were very clean and the bathrooms were nice. It’s a central area, but the street is calm, there’s no noise, and the neighbors in the building are quiet as well. We’d recommend it to our friends and would stay here again if we return to La spezia.

Cà Da Sirio is dog friendly, which mattered most to me. Our room, “Riomaggiore,” was clean, and the service was good. They have 5 rooms. I’d highly recommend it.
