Elisa deserves host of the year! You can see how much she cares about this place in all the little details. The guest house is comfortable, in a lovely neighborhood near coffee and restaurants, and it’s an easy walk to the train for Cinque Terra. There’s a lot to enjoy here: relaxing areas, a beautiful pool, a play area for children, and an outdoor dining space with a fire pit. An outdoor kitchen is in the works too. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Thanks for making it feel like a home away from home, Elisa and Marco 🇮🇹

The hosts were so welcoming and helped us in every way they could. When we got a flat tyre, Elisa and Marco shared tips that helped us get it repaired within a day. The place itself is beautiful, and the nearby local pizza spot is a few hundred metres away, with good morning coffee just across the street. More than perfect. We’re coming back, thank you so many times over.

Villa Marcella is a beautiful home, named after Elisa’s grandmother, and we were lucky to stay in one of its five rooms. The landscaping was the most lavish I’ve ever seen at a place I’ve stayed, and the amenities were better than top hotels: a pool, fire pit, and gazebo. Everything seemed thoughtfully placed. You can see how much Elisa and Marco care for each other and their guests. They’re fantastic hosts, with warm, outgoing service and great ideas for day trips. We enjoyed cappuccino and pastries at Pause Cafe across the street, and Federica’s Ristorante Petronilla was a top-notch dinner experience. We didn’t get to try the limoncello, though we heard it was excellent. If you’re planning to stay in Cinque Terra, consider staying at Villa Marcella instead and enjoying this wonderful home and local life. We loved it.

Marco and Elisa made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. The room was modern and clean, and the garden was lovely for relaxing, with an immaculate swimming pool. The property is well located and we felt safe the whole time. Grazie Mille from London! Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

The couple managing the villa were courteous and helpful, and gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation for dinner, which we really appreciated. The rooms were nicely furnished, the beds comfortable, and the decor gives Villa Marcella a boutique feel. We weren’t disappointed at all. Breakfast is served at a bar across the street, which feels a lot lower class than the lodging. Also, you need to climb a flight of stairs to get to the rooms, which may put some people off. We saw that as part of the authentic feel. The B&B where we’d stayed the night before booked this place for us.
