Roberta and Davide made us feel like friends, with a warm welcome and plenty of tips for sightseeing, beaches, and places to eat. Breakfast was delicious and generous, and the price felt fair for what we got. The room was simple, clean, and comfortable, though the bathroom felt a bit cramped for taller people. The property sits uphill in a quiet, leafy area, about a 10-minute drive from central La Spezia. The breeze was lovely, but the lack of air conditioning could be a drawback on hotter days. It's also a good base for seeing Liguria and Tuscany. I'd definitely recommend Locanda del Papa if you're after a peaceful stay.

David was one of the best hosts I've met while traveling. He speaks English really well, and breakfast was lovely.

David and Roberta were the best hosts we've had, and the quiet valley view was lovely. The rooms were clean and spacious, though not top notch. We hardly spent time indoors anyway, heading out for Cinque Terre adventures or relaxing on the veranda and chatting with the hosts. Thanks again to David and his wife!

David was great about answering our questions on getting to La Spezia and gave us practical tips for exploring Cinque Terre. The agriturismo is incredible, with such kind, attentive hosts and their lovely cat, Jack. We'd gladly come back.

We spent two nights at this peaceful agriturismo in the hills above La Spezia and really enjoyed the friendly, secluded setting. The owners know the area well and shared lots of useful information. Breakfast was generous and delicious, a lovely start before heading out to explore Cinque Terre.
