The view is terrific, and the owner was very friendly. The place has everything you might need, including decent wifi. It's above La Spezia's noise, but still only a 10-minute drive to the central station for the Cinque Terre.

We stayed with four friends in early June in this lovely little apartment in the upper part of La Spezia. The parking is in a small square right in front, with a panoramic gulf view. You'll need a car since the place is a bit far from the station and tucked away from the road. It's a great starting point for the Cinque Terre by train or the beaches of Lerici.

Marco gave us a warm welcome, and there was a chilled bottle of water waiting when we arrived. The apartment sits in the hills above La Spezia, with a lovely view and reserved parking. The accommodation is simple but has good equipment.

We'd book this clean, well-equipped apartment again if we return. It's well placed for visiting the Cinque Terre by train or boat, and the owner is friendly and gives good advice. I'd gladly pass the address along to friends too.
