CADAMARE charming rooms in Portovenere

The pizzeria downstairs was a handy touch, and we slept really well in the super comfortable bed. The apartment was modern, very clean, comfortable, and had great air conditioning. It's in a quiet area, about 10 minutes from the city center, and the private parking was a big plus. The team were friendly and attentive from the start, quick to answer our questions and ready to help. Everything was arranged to make the stay relaxing. We had a wonderful time and can't think of anything negative to say. We'd love to come back next year. Thanks so much to everyone for the warm hospitality and dedication. You deserve all the stars!

The staff made us uncomfortable by asking where we were going when we left and where we had been when we came back. It felt extremely intrusive. There were lots of mosquitoes in the room when we checked in, and cleanliness was average at best. The bed didn't feel like a proper bed, more like something from a campsite. The mattress was loose and incredibly hard. There were no blackout curtains or other light protection, so we woke with the sunrise. The parking is on an open street beside garbage bins, and didn't feel safe. The balcony may look inviting in the photos, but the mosquitoes made it impossible to sit outside. Don't open the windows unless you want a whole mosquito family coming in.

The people were lovely and gave us tips for getting around and exploring Cinque Terre, La Spezia, and Porto Venere. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, modern, neat, and cozy, and parking out front was convenient in a quiet, safe area.

You can take a local bus to Portovenere or La Spezia, then travel onward to Cinque Terre. There are restaurants nearby with delicious food, too. The apartments were wonderful, highly recommended.
