The apartment was an easy 10-15 minute walk from the train station, and check-in went smoothly. The room was as described and comfortable. We could hear noise from neighboring rooms, though, so the soundproofing could be better.

There were too many little things that didn’t add up for me. The towels weren’t changed, the bed wasn’t made, and coffee and a brioche meant going to another bar. At that price, I don’t see the point of a holiday room without the comfort or service of a hotel, especially when it doesn’t cost less than one.

We found the place easily, and the location in La Spezia was great. The room was clean and neat, with lovely decorations. The staff were really helpful and accommodating.

The room was nice and the host was nice too, but the parking situation is intolerable. Don’t come by car!
