The owner was really nice, and his tips on places to see and eat were good. Our room was clean and lovely, with everything we needed, though our phones couldn't find the WIFI. There's no breakfast, but he suggested a nearby bakery and patisserie. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the train station, where you can get to Cinqueterre and buy a day ticket for the train. It's a great base for visiting Cinque Terre, with other places to see if you have time. There was plenty of free parking outside, though it was a little hidden and we needed the owner to show us how to get there.

From the outside it looks good, but inside it was awful. Google and Booking.com showed great reviews, but that wasn't our experience in this room. It was the most horrible night I've ever spent in accommodation. There was mold on the walls and in the air, and we couldn't sleep or even breathe properly. The owner didn't respond.

The room was small, but well maintained and full of thoughtful extras: bottled water in the fridge, umbrellas to borrow, tea and coffee facilities, and toiletries. The owners were friendly and helpful with directions. It's not central, though the station is still a 15-minute walk away. There's free public parking nearby and a breakfast bar just a minute from the room. The one real flaw was the humidity. The room smelled musty, probably because of the bad weather. Aside from that, everything was perfect.

The location is quiet, and the rooms have been put together with care and attention to detail. The owner is extremely helpful and has lots of tips for sightseeing and places to eat.
